My Story

Hi, I'm Portia, a Holistic Hypothalamic Amenorrhea Recovery Coach, Functional Nutrition Coach, Personal Trainer, and Qualified Mindfulness Practitioner based in Melbourne.

But before all of that, I was just a girl who was really struggling.

I lost my period when I was 17. What followed was eight years of navigating an eating disorder, a hospitalisation, a revolving door of specialists, and years of half-committing to recovery while quietly wondering whether I had left it too late.

From the outside I looked healthy, fit, disciplined, put together. Internally, my body had essentially shut down. I was dismissed, misdiagnosed, and handed prescriptions that did nothing to address what was actually going on.

In 2025 I decided enough was enough. I said no to another script, trusted my gut, and committed fully to recovering my period naturally. I changed how I ate, how I moved, how I slept, and how I spoke to myself. I went to therapy, quit a job that was destroying my nervous system, moved closer to the beach, and did the deep inner work I had been avoiding for years.

It was the hardest thing I have ever done. But I finally got my period back.

That journey changed everything — my health, my identity, and my entire understanding of what it means to be well. And it showed me exactly the work I was meant to do.

I now work with women who are navigating hypothalamic amenorrhea and hormonal healing, helping them understand what their bodies are telling them, cut through the noise, and build a life that actually supports their health from the inside out.

My approach is holistic, honest, and deeply personal. I have lived this, not just studied it. And I know what it actually takes to get to the other side.
